Jason (Giblin) Hindley is one half of the successful London advertising photography duo Giblin James. In additon to his commercial work he has produced a series of art photography books in his own name with beautifully serene photography. The photos seem like random snapshots but each is lovingly hand crafted with all the attention to detail of his high-end commercial work, just as each book is hand printed by Jason Hindley himself and hand bound by a master craftsman. Each image is carefully composed and the tonal compositions and range are beautifully simple. Studying the books leave you in a peaceful beautiful state of mind.
A tactile experience
It is the tactile feeling of peacefully looking through the quality art photography books that the websites recreate. The interface is completely intuitive and unobtrusive; a bookshelf and some books. You pick the volume you wish from the books placed on the bookshelf and it unfolds. Reading through the books is like holding the real thing. You flick through the pages with a natural feeling page effekt. As close as you can get to the real experience.
